After Pelleve

Pelleve precisely heats the deep layers of your skin using advanced radiowave technology without damaging the epidermis, or top layer. The heat causes the collagen in your skin to contract and tighten. After the treatment, your skin will start to produce new collagen. The result is an improvement in the skin quality, firmness and tightness you can see and feel.

Possible side effects of Pelleve are usually treatment-site related and include mild discomfort during the procedure localized within the treatment area. Mild swelling (edema) and redness (erythema) may occur during or after a radiofrequency skin treatment. The erythema typically resolved within 3 to 5 days, but can persist up to several weeks.

An ice pack can be applied to the skin to relieve and cool the skin after treating an area for approximately 15 to 20 minutes. The skin may redden or darken slightly due to the treatment.

A regimen to moisturize and keep skin hydrated is recommended in the morning and night to soothe and calm skin for one week post-treatment. This product can be purchased in the Laser Room at N.M.O.F.S., Green tea vita-E with cucumber and C-difference-vitamin C. These are moisturizers for all skin types. Apply a dime size amount on fingertips and apply to treated area or full face.
